Willy Olsen, Former Advisor to the President & CEO of Statoil,
Senior Advisor, INTSOK
Willy is the former Senior Advisor to the President & CEO of Statoil. He joined Statoil in 1980 after 15 years in journalism. During his time at Statoil Willy Olsen held a number of senior positions, including Managing Director of Statoil UK and head of Statoil's activities in the former Soviet Union. Willy Olsen has an in-depth knowledge of the role of national oil companies. He has been a member of various advisory boards on Caspian and Russia, and has been a Governor in the Board of Oxford Energy Institute. Mr Olsen is now the Senior Advisor to INTSOK a foundation owned by the Norwegian government and Norwegian oil industry. INTSOK is coordinating the efforts of expanding the internationalisation of the Norwegian petroleum cluster. He is an Associate Fellow of Chatham House in London and member of the Governing Board of Revenue Watch Institute in New York and has in recent years worked with Governments and national oil companies in several oil producing countries.

Pat Roberts, Managing Director, LNG-Worldwide Ltd
Pat has been a Managing Director of LNG-Worldwide since 2005, a consulting company offering advice, support and training in all areas of the LNG commercial supply chain. Previous to that Pat has 24 years of experience with the Shell Group of companies both in Oil and Natural Gas. Her direct experience in LNG is in the area of developing and implementing LNG strategies for new market entrants and companies seeking to strengthen partnerships with LNG producers. This includes working in all commercial areas across the LNG value chain . Her work has included working with governments, NOCs, IOCs and utilities and she has advised on structuring and optimizing LNG supply portfolios. Coupled with her commercial experience is also a strong grounding in fundamental market analysis and strategic planning.

Prof Edmilson Moutinho dos Santos, Associate Professor, Graduate Energy Program, University of Sao Paulo
Prof Edmilson Moutinho dos Santos is Associate Professor on the Graduate Energy Program at the University of Sao Paulo. He teaches and develops research on Energy Economics, Policy and Regulation, with a focus on Petroleum and Natural Gas. His current research has particular emphasis on the development of the natural gas market in Brazil. Professor Moutinho dos Santos is an engineer and economist from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He holds the following degrees: Master in Energy Systems and Policy from the University of Campinas, Brazil; Master in Energy Management and Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, USA; and Doctor in Energy Economics from the French Petroleum Institute, France. He works as an independent Consultant for the Brazilian government, the International Energy Agency, as well as for energy companies and NGOs. He was Visiting Professor at the University of Calgary, Canada, University of Oklahoma, USA, and Universidad Mayor San Simon, Bolivia.

Dr Jennifer Coolidge, Executive Director, CMX Caspian & Gulf Consultants Ltd, Senior Research Advisor, Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, University of Oxford
Dr Coolidge is an internationally renowned expert on the gas sectors of Iraq and Turkmenistan and advises international oil companies and multinationals on strategy, political risk, operations and market entry in Iraq, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan. In 2006-2007, Dr Coolidge was Research Fellow at the Kennan Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center, a prominent US Congressionally funded think tank in Washington DC. In 2005-2006 she was International Policy Fellow in the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford, and Senior Rapporteur for the UK Taskforce on Energy Security and Foreign Policy chaired by former EU External Relations Commissioner, Lord Christopher Patten. Dr Coolidge’s concurrent research on the hydrocarbon sector of Turkmenistan was funded by the US Department of State Title VIII program. She received a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford in 2002. She recently published “Turkmenistan: an exporter in transition” with Dr Stanislav Zhukov in Russian and CIS Gas Markets and their Impact on Europe, February 2009, Oxford University Press.

He has trained in Electronic networking, Information Management Services, Document Control and Management on Mega projects both in Nigeria, UK and the USA. Olatunde’s career in the oil and gas industry started with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1979 – 2004 when he left the service of the corporation as the Manager in charge of Document Control and Management in NETCO; also of NNPC. Uyi has spent his entire career in the Oil and Gas industry, with over a decade of experience gained having worked for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nestoil Limited, Nigerdock PLC and McDermott International. While at McDermott International, Uyi developed a passion for projects involving the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of high-tech Oil and Gas facilities in Nigeria.Uyi was educated at West Buckland School, Devon, UK. He holds a BSc. degree from the University of Jos and an M Sc. Degree in Ecotoxicology and Pollution Management from the University of Lagos. He has received professional development from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Alex Forbes, Director, Forbes Communications
Independent journalist and consultant Alex Forbes has been reporting on energy developments and analysing trends for three decades. His expertise covers the whole gamut of energy - including oil, natural gas, electricity, policy, regulation, climate change and the geopolitics of energy supply security. His specialisms include unconventional fossil fuels, liquefied natural gas (LNG), gas-to-liquids (GTL), nuclear power and renewables. Since 2006, Alex has been the lead author and executive editor of an annual survey of the natural gas industries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) published by the Paris-based Arab Petroleum Research Center. Between 1995 and 2005 he was editor of Gas Matters. Other editorships include Electrical Review International, Inside Energy, and deputy editorship during the launch phase of Utility Week. He also frequently chairs and speaks at energy conferences. Recent consultancy assignments have included a study of the prospects for unconventional gas in Europe, a report on natural gas trends in the European Union, and several studies on energy developments in the MENA region. Alex graduated from King's College, London, in 1981 with an Honours degree in physics.
