CWC Staff News

CWC Sleep Walkers

A few of us at CWC are taking part in a 20 Mile Night Hike across London in honour of some very close friends and family of ours that have been affected by cancer and to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Centres.

It’s 20 MILES - 6 miles short of a marathon! We will be taking part on Friday 16th September and starting the night hike at 7.30pm.

We wanted to do something for charity and get fit. Maggie’s London Night Hike gives us a chance to do that and every one of us knows someone who has been touched by cancer in some way and doing the Night Hike is a chance for us to do something to help others.

Maggie’s programme of support empowers people to live with, through and beyond cancer. The Centres are free to visit, no appointment is necessary and are for anyone affected by any type of cancer as well as their family and friends.

Maggie’s event manager Lucy MacKay said: “We are so proud and grateful to those taking part in this amazing event who are raising such vital funds for Maggie’s. The money they raise will support thousands of people on their journey through cancer. The London Night Hike is an incredible experience which reflects the incredible experience we strive to provide to people in our centres.”

We’d love to raise money to help Maggie’s and people affected by cancer so please visit our online fundraising page www.justgiving.com/cwcsleepwalkers or get in touch with Victoria Jolly on +44 20 7978 0074 or email vjolly@thecwcgroup.com
